A numbered dial changes the blade exposure across eight settings. Lower numbers give a lighter, more forgiving pass for daily upkeep; higher numbers give a closer, more thorough result. You can change the setting as your skin, beard and technique evolve.
Rinse the razor after each use and dry it before returning it to the stand. Loosen the head occasionally to rinse away residue. Replace blades regularly and store spare blades in the case, away from moisture.
